As a potential or existing customer of Joii, you are invited to take part in an exciting study to help build and shape our usage of AI.
As you know, Vet-AI (the company that owns the Joii Petcare app) is a veterinary telemedicine and AI company based in the UK. We are currently working on a new AI model to enhance our product and service offering to our customers and their beloved pets, the new model is called AI.Vet.
AI.Vet will ask questions with a view to learning as much information as possible about the you (the customer) and the pet prior to the commencement of a video consultation with one our vets. This is with a view to establish our customer circumstances quicker so as to speed up the diagnostic process.
This study and your usage of AI.Vet is for our information gathering purposes only and may contain limitations, errors or inaccuracies. You should not rely on anything that the model depicts or states as a substitute for professional advice.
In the event that your pet becomes ill, you should not rely on AI.Vet as a means of diagnosis and should seek advice from your primary care veterinary practice or other pet care professional.
You agree that you will not deliberately use AI.Vet other than for the purposes described above and not knowingly use the model; (i) for unlawful purposes, (ii) in a manner that infringes third party intellectual property rights, or (iii) in a way that could compromise our systems and security or interfere with others.
You acknowledge that your participation in the study is for the testing, development and enhancement of AI.Vet only. YOU AGREE THAT WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSSES OR COSTS THAT YOU MAY SUFFER AS A RESULT OF YOUR USAGE OF AI.Vet AND THAT ANY OUTPUTS PROVIDED SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON IN PLACE OF PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
All intellectual property rights in the AI.Vet throughout the world belong to us, including any outputs of AI.Vet generated as a result of your participation in this study. You have no intellectual property rights in, or to, AI.Vet other than the right to use it in accordance with these terms.
All intellectual property rights in any feedback in relation to AI.Vet that you provide, or any improvements that we may make based on such feedback, shall automatically vest in Vet-AI on creation.
By accepting these terms, you are giving permission for any personal data collected during the study to be used to help us develop and enhance the AI model.
